Cold and blustery conditions greeted the competitors in qualifying. The cars ventured on the track when the ambient temperature was around 6 degrees, and to make things worse for the drivers it started drizzling. Drivers struggled to get warmth in the tyres, and this caught out a few of them.  Greg Kenny and Stephen Champion both spun coming onto the straight, no harm was done apart from lost time.

Alex Kenny driving a Juno coped with the conditions the best, claiming pole from Peter Clare in a Radical SR3. Greg Kenny and Darren Barlow claimed the second row, while rookie Jonathan Canavan and Paul Palmer occupied row 3.

In Race 1 Alex Kenny made the best start and lead Clare and Barlow into turn 1. As the leaders powered up the hill for the first time, Greg Kenny spun his car coming out of turn 2. The rest of the field scattered in all directions to miss the stricken car. Palmer, Champion and Caravan all took to the outfield to avoid the accident. As Canavan tried to get back onto the track he damaged his driveshaft and was not able to continue.

The field continued on with both Palmer and Champion rejoining the track, special mention to the marshals by removing Canavans car promptly without the need of the safety car. As all this was happening Barlow made his way past Clare into 2nd position. By midrace distance the race had settled down, the order was Alex Kenny comfortably in 1st position with Barlow a distant 2nd. Clare was driving solo in 3rd.  Champion was making his way through the field after losing time to avoid the accident.

The dice of the race was Chris Barry, Palmer and the hard charging Champion, this went on for several laps with Barry coming out on top in his nimble PRB. At the end Alex Kenny won by a large margin of 27 seconds from Barlow. Clare came home 3rd, Barry edged out Champion to finish 4th.

Alex Kenny continued his good form and made another great start from Barlow and Barry. The leaders speed was evident and proceeded to pull away from Barlow. As the cars came past to start the 2nd lap, Palmer put his hand up to warn the other drivers that he had a problem. Palmer coasted to the pits and eventually rejoined the race a lap down.

Barry, Champion and Braico were having a great dice for 3rd position. Champion was able to put on a great move on Barry and not long after that Braico followed suit. Up front Alex Kenny was lapping considerably faster than the rest, he was able to lap all but 3 other drivers on the way to another great win. Barlow who had started his 100th championship race in NSW Supersport had lonely but consistent race for second. Champion came home a strong 3rd.

The combination of Alex Kenny and his Juno was unstoppable this weekend, and it was confirmed again during race 3. He again made a great start and was followed by a more competitive Barlow. The two leaders wasted no time in pulling away from the rest of the field. By the end of the first lap Alex Kenny had a gap on Barlow, who in turn had a gap on the 3rd place dice.

All the action was for that elusive last step of the podium:  Champion, Barry, Clare, Braico and Canavan raced in close proximity to claim that prize. At one stage Champion and Braico nearly had a coming together. Canavan was driving a mature race and piled the pressure onto Greg Kenny and eventually Barry. Champion was able to get to a rhythm and pull away from the squabbling pack, once in clear air his lap times became faster.

At the end it was Alex Kenny that made it 3 wins in as many starts. Barlow soldiered on to claim 2nd place again, his car is normally faster but this weekend struggled in the conditions. Champion came home 3rd. Braico finished a strong 4th ahead of Canavan.
