SuperSports Launches new Season With TV Support

Sunday 9th March heralded a delightful trophy presentation day and launch of the 2014 season amongst fine weather (contrary to the forecasts!).

Club trophies were awarded (see winners below), but the big news of the day amongst the usual SuperSports convivial company was that the first round at SMSP will receive virtually national TV support supplied by Blend Line TV.
A 25 minute packaged broadcast solely dedicated to the three SuperSports races on the day’s programme will go to air in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.
The same programme will be uploaded onto YouTube for access via Facebook and web pages. The exciting wheel to wheel racing between different types of racing sports cars, Radical, Stohrs, ADR’s, Wests, Junos etc can now be enjoyed and appreciated by a far wider audience than ever before.

AUSTRALIAN FIRST FOR SUPERSPORTS!

Round One (on Sunday 18th May) will also feature the first ever fully electric car to race in Australia! Brett Sutherland of Solar Power Australia has developed this all electric vehicle within a Radical body shell, and following thorough testing conducted by John Bowe and Garth Walden it is now ready to compete on equal terms with conventional SuperSports cars.
It’s sure to attract widespread media interest, so make sure you are ready to compete, watch at The Creek or just on TV, but at all costs don’t miss out!
