Clash of the Titans – June 22

Latest News Comments Off

Sydney Motor Sport Park heralds a unique clash of two champion cars and drivers on Saturday 22 June when Neil Muston, reigning Radical Cup Champion, faces up to Adam Proctor, reigning Sports Racer Champion, in the second round of the NSW SuperSports Championship.

Furthermore it will be the first time in Australia that a V8 2.7 litre powered Radical checks out against a diminutive 1 litre Stohr!  But then it might be one of the SR 3 Radicals, or the unique La-Barata Tiger Shark driven by veteran racer Rick Scarf, or even the Honda powered 2 litre Juno of Alex Kenny that reigns supreme. Perhaps even a dark horse in the guise of smart young racer Brad Shiels driving an ADR.

Four very different types of cars, engines and configuration, but all in with a chance. One thing is for sure, that all want to win, along with the remaining cars on the grid- some 20 cars in total!
Even better, the spectacle will be fought out over an action packed one day, the Saturday only, of the two day Championship meeting.

SuperSports cars from the USA, the Uk and Australia, engine sizes from 1 litre to 2.7 litres, both motor cycle and car engined derived will make a salivating and exciting spectacle over three separate sprint races through the day.

Surely a day to salivate and one not to miss?
